This Privacy Policy describes how TriExport ("the App"), developed by Josef Sekava, handles information when You use the App, and explains Your privacy rights.
Capitalized words have meanings defined below. These definitions apply whether the terms appear in singular or plural form.
TriExport requests read-only access to Your multisport workouts in Apple HealthKit. This includes, for the workouts You choose to export:
This data:
You can review or revoke HealthKit access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → TriExport.
The App writes GPX files to Your Device's temporary storage so You can share them via the iOS share sheet (for example, to upload them to Strava). What happens to a file after You share it is governed by the destination service's own privacy policy, not Ours.
We use Sentry (Sentry, Inc., 45 Fremont Street, 8th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA) for crash and error reporting to improve App stability. When a crash or error occurs, Sentry may automatically collect:
This diagnostic data is used solely for diagnosing and fixing technical issues. We have configured Sentry so that it does not collect any user-identifying information or workout content. Crash data is transmitted securely over HTTPS and retained by Sentry in accordance with their data retention policies. For more information, see Sentry's Privacy Policy.
Beyond the crash reporting above, We explicitly do not collect:
TriExport contains no advertising frameworks. The only network calls the App makes are crash reports sent to Sentry as described above.
For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland: all processing of Your workout data occurs locally on Your Device and We never receive or store that data, so no controller-side processing of HealthKit data under the GDPR takes place. Apple acts as the data controller for HealthKit data on Your Device in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.
For crash and error reporting via Sentry, the legal basis is Our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in maintaining a stable and functional application. Only technical diagnostic data (device type, OS version, App version, and error stack trace) is processed — no workout content or user-identifying information is included.
If You are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, You have the following rights regarding any Personal Data We hold:
Because We hold no Personal Data about You at all, most of the above rights have no practical content with respect to Us. You can manage Your HealthKit data through Apple's Health app, and revoke the App's HealthKit access at any time in Your Device settings.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the Czech Republic, the competent authority is:
All workout data and generated GPX files remain on Your Device. The App transmits only anonymous crash diagnostic data to Sentry over HTTPS (see the Crash and Error Reporting section above). You are solely responsible for the security of Your Device and Your iCloud account in accordance with Apple's terms and privacy policy.
We retain no Personal Data on Our own systems.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 13. If You are a parent or guardian and believe Your child has provided Personal Data through the App, please contact Us and We will take steps to address the situation.
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, by posting a notice within the App.
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes are effective when posted.
